Noctua

Noctua was formed as a co-operation between Austrian company Rascom Computerdistribution Ges.m.b.H and Taiwanese company Kolink International Corporation. It entertains a development partnership with the Austrian Institute of Heat Transmission and Fan Technology. The name Noctua originates from At hene noctua, the scientific/Latin name for the little owl. The Greek goddess Athena and the owl are synonymous in western civilization with wisdom. Noctua's sound-optimised premium heatsinks and fans are designed using scientific measurement instrumentation, methods of calculation and simulation technology, and meet the highest demands in terms of performance, quality and quietness of operation. In its first year of operation, Noctua's products earned more than 100 recommendations and editor's choice awards from leading international websites and magazines.
