Nesteq RubberScrew Magnets Fan Isolation Assembly Set

NesteQ's RubberScrew Magnets are an ingenious little product. They are designed to allow you to mount a cooling fan virtually anywhere inside a PC case.

The product includes four very powerful magnets that are capable of holding fans of sizes up to 200mm in place without the fear of coming loose. Also in the package are six rubber fan screws and four rubber washers which are all designed to reduce the vibrational noise generated by the fan.

There are two ways to mount a fan using these RubberScrews. Firstly, there is the conventional way that uses the screw holes at each corner of the fan. The second method allows the fan to be mounted on its side. This installation is perfect for providing extra air flow over PCI cards. The images below show some mounting methods.

There are two negatives to this amazing little product. Number 1, obviously being magnetic it will only stick to steel surfaces, so if the case is manufactured from aluminium then the product will not work. Number 2, the rubber fan screws will only work with fans that are flanged and not ribbed fans.
