Gelid Tranquillo Design Concept

The Gelid Tranquillo CPU cooler uses 4 power heat pipes and a special heat pipe constellation to achieve the best heat transfer from the CPU core to the aluminium fins in its class.  After precise software simulation in the development stage a unique heatsink shape was created for the Gelid Tranquillo to lower airflow resistance as much as possible.

A silent 120mm fan with the intelligent Gelid PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control has been chosen to make the Gelid Tranquillo more valuable.  The fan blades were optimised to guarantee high airflow while running silently.  The intelligent PWM curve keeps the fan silent when no necessary cooling is needed through the Gelid Tranquillo but accelerates the fan speed whenever additional cooling is needed.  The multi-award winning high performance GC-2 thermal compound is also included with the Gelid Tranquillo - making it a complete package to cool virtually any desktop.
