AMD 2 / 2+ / 3 CPU Coolers

Cool and Quiet offer an extensive range of AM3 CPU Cooler and AM2 CPU Cooler solutions. Both socket types prove very popular with the most current AMD processors.

AMD's 'AM' socket can be quite confusing though because you can use an AM2+ CPU in an AM2 socket, but an AM2 will not work in an AM2+ socket.

Thankfully you will find that choosing the correct AM2 CPU Cooler or AM3 CPU Cooler much less dauntin as they are all physically the same shape/size socket.

Please bear in mind, however, that although they may fit it does not necessarily mean it will be suitable for an AM3 CPU, because it may not be able to cool it sufficiently.
