Extremely Cool
The unique twin tower cpu heatsink consists of 102 fins which significantly increase the heat dissipation area to distribute massive amounts of heat faster and more efficiently through the cpu cooler. The 120mm PWM fan which, combined with the eight heatpipes (4 double-sided) and the twin tower heatsink, not only transfers heat from the CPU but also cools the RAM, north bridge and voltage regulators. Together with the pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste, the Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme revision 2  offers performance far beyond any stock CPU cooler and easily achieves up to 160 watts of cooling capacity. It is an excellent thermal management solution that boosts overclocking to a new level.

Extremely Quiet
The 120mm fan of the Freezer Xtreme 2 is equipped with a low noise impeller and patented fan holder for quiet operation. Controlled by a PWM signal, the fan runs at just the necessary speed for lowest noise level at maximum cooling capacity. The result is outstanding: the Freezer Xtreme generates only 0.5 Sone at full load, much quieter than standard and aftermarket coolers even with bigger fans.
